2012 Senior, Sara

It’s so important to me that all my senior sessions be special for my girls. I want each session to represent who they are as much as possible. The idea is for them to be able to look back, years from now, and see the person they used to be—all through their eyes, smiles, and expressions. I want them to enjoy their time with me, walking away shining that inner glow outwards—happy, excited and confident for the future.

Sara's session was no exception. I wanted to capture who she is through my lens as much as I could. She’s so full of life, bright, fun-loving, sweet and so happy! We took a few pictures at the county fair since we both were going to be there, and a few weeks later met up for her real senior session. The best part—she had permission to use her boyfriend's family farm with acres of orchards, an old barn, a beautiful pond and of course those mean cows that kept staring us down. Scary! Aside from the intimidating cows, it was a remarkably tranquil, peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful place. I had such a wonderful time hanging out with her and her BFF, Hannah, you can check out Hannah's session HERE.

I can't gush enough about the amazing young ladies I've had the opportunity to photograph and get to know. I am incredibly lucky to be asked to capture such milestones, but, ironically it is me that ends up being utterly captivated. I can honestly say that I walk away from every session not wanting it to end there, I am so charmed and inspired!
